The Lord’s Resistance Army or LRA on Saturday attacked villages in Ezo County, kidnapping 13 years old girl to their bush hideout.
Ezo County Press Secretary Buku Matthew said the attackers abducted seven residents three kilometres away from Ezo town, but later released six of them, Anisa Radio reported.
He added that they looted property including food stuff.
Mr Mathew said his wife Mariano Anguani, niece and an old man Peter Siekuo from the same village were among the abductees.
One of the released abductees Enio Santo disclosed that he was with two of his sons fishing in River Mbomu along Democratic Republic of Congo border when attacked.
He added that eight well armed LRA claimed that they were looking for food not war. – See more at: http://catholicradionetwork.org/?q=node/16245#sthash.YddyVdlP.dpuf
