Eastern Equatoria Youth prefers federalism


Eastern Equatoria Youth Forum Chairperson said federal system of governance in South Sudan is his preference compared to the current decentralization with dominant elements of centralization.

Michael Ajeo Paul told Radio Bakhita that youths want the final constitution to address land issues in the country.

Warrap Youth Union representative Alfred Ngong said Warrap prefers the current decentralized system of governance hammered in the final constitution.

South Sudan Youth Participatory Agency said they are engaging youths to speak up to put their views in the national constitution making process.

Jonglei State Youth Chairman Simon Ochala Wello urged the youths to first focus on the constitution making process to decide on governance system, not political leaders imposing their system on the people.
