The Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan Yei Diocese Bishop was attacked at his residence by Unknown armed men and his property looted at gun point on Wednesday night.
Bishop Hillary Luwate Adeba enunciate that thieves entered his place at 9:00 PM and took his two laptop computers, an IPAD, 4,000 South Sudanese Pounds and a church land crusher.
Luwate expressed sadness and disappointment on attacks subjected to religious leaders in the country.
Yei Police Commissioner Nicola Jeremiah Maker confirmed that the police pursued and arrested the criminals at Bungu some few miles to Juba.
Jeremiah said they sent their forces on Thursday at ten o’clock in the morning to bring the car and the criminals from Bungu to Yei.
